I can't say enough good things about this tool!  I absolutely LOVE Jing!  I first learned about Jing in an educational media class!  I have used it multiple times since then!  Jing is a software that allows you to record video and audio!

 

Jing in the classroom:

Jing can be used if you have know you are going to have a sub.  The teacher can prerecord a class lecture, powerpoint, activity, etc. and have students watch the video in class.  Also, flipped classrooms can use Jing to record lectures to for students to watch at home!
